I have to apologize, I may have misunderstood and commented "wrong" freeze: My 22% freeze on two machines was already when Windows Update was downloading the build upgrade, not when it started to install it.

In these two machines the download indicator in Settings stopped at 22% and on both cases I decided to restart the machines (one physical, one virtual) after the indicator had not moved in half an hour. After the restart WU had no more issues in downloading the upgrade.

I had no issues in upgrade itself.
Ah, yes, mine is the upgrade.

I tried twice and it hung at the same place both times, forcing a hard restart and rollback to release. Not really sure where the best place to report it is, tweeted at the Windows Insider account ... Philip Kahn on Twitter:

suddenly I am having upgrade issues with the past 2 builds. The upgrade boots up to a black screen on the first restart. Tried a clean install with a USB and it's the same. I restored an old image and mounted the ISO for a clean install (not upgrade), and that was very smooth. Will try Kari's viiBoot upgrade method on the next build. We'll see how it goes.

Btw, I forgot to mention I am running 2 versions of W10 on this machine. The 10586.420 on M.2 SSD (GPT) and Insider Preview on regular SSD (MBR). That could be the possible reason. But it was running fine for the past year on this setup. I am only having problems now.

We have our own here and it's simplified. ESD to ISO - Create Bootable ISO from Windows 10 ESD File
We've been doing that here for a while now.

Yes I know and I've used the program on this site. Told the moderator I won't post outside links again - just didn't know. People several times were inquiring about ISO so that's why I posted this link. Winaero is a useful site however.

Nothing available here yet. :-( Is everyone on the FAST ring supposed to get this build?

Yes, but some are delayed for whatever reason. Have you restarted your machine?

Is risky to be in the preview program? Do stability, compatibility work well? What's your experience?

Yes, several times. All I got was a Defender update. Guess I will just need to wait for it.
