Is risky to be in the preview program? Do stability, compatibility work well? What's your experience?
From my experience and others who have used the insider as a primary OS there really is no major issues at this point and it's stable. Currently I use a dual boot set up.

In some aspects insider version is better and even less risky than regular version. Many bugs are fixed and any new ones come mostly from new features that don't impact the rest of system. Personally I wouldn't trade it for regular version.

Anybody else have problems with Windows doesn't offer typing support for his language? Only English US typing is supported here, no other language.

Anyone know if in this version scheduled backups by Macrium Reflect will trigger and run? Last version broke scheduled backups.

@waltc. Something is really screwed up with your system as what you are experiencing certainly isn't normal, beta or no beta.

Good luck with finding the real problem!
Actually, my system is probably nearly perfect as desktops go...;) Don't have--never had--the problem with the 10586/10240 builds. It's easy to sometimes make the mistake of thinking somebody else has problems if you don't. If you want to take a look at the problems people are having that are very similar to mine you ought to peruse the Feedback section--filter to "Most recent" and "Problems" and "Windows Installation Update and Recovery" and "Windows installation." Then, change the first filter to "Trending" if you like. I counted a dozen or more similar reports in just the last few minutes...

These are *beta* operating systems, remember. They have all kinds of bugs that never show up in the "known issues" or "fixed" columns...;) They just get fixed when they get fixed--with little to no fanfare. It's sort of funny that you should say that...as other people in these forums are having problems that I'm not--but that's what you get with beta software. The Insider's program exists for precisely this reason--to help Microsoft swat the bugs that are surely there.

    Heya,

Is anyone else getting blank tiles on the start menu? I have updated to 14367 and had some of the issues of the install hanging to a point of having to hard restart like a few others posted. Third time was the charm as install went in fluid.

After the update I added a few games such as Forza 6 and so on. But since then those tiles and a few program tiles are showing blank. Have tried various fixes found on the net but to no avail. Wondering if anyone else is seeing this also?
