I don't think the High Contrast Theme is ugly at all. You can make it as pretty as you like. Just chose the right colors. On the pictures it does not come out as good as in reality. But here is an example. You have to magnify it to see the detail.
Starting to play around with High Contrast themes a little more seriously; it's not working out too bad, actually!

Spartan actually looks better in High Contrast! :)

In connection with High Contrast themes, especially with dark colors, and those who use Firefox, there's a couple good tweaks that fix up the Firefox header a little bit. High Contrast themes don't go well with Firefox Australis (rounded) tabs, so to fix that up, go to 'about:config' in FF and navigate to browser.devedition.theme.enabled and toggle it's value to True,
then go to devtools.theme and change it's value to Dark, if you wish. Makes it all look better.

For Chrome you can get a high contrast extension from here. It allows for a number of settings:

John, I've seen replies from you like this before. Your way of saying "no comment"?

10056 is already old... anything new? I heard MS is working on 10063... but the next build release might be a different number. :)
I heard that 10061 was supposedly leaked, but I couldn't find anything on my preferred torrent sites. It seems that build wasn't signed and returned to it's developing channel.

Looking forward for a new leak or release !

Have you installed Build 10056? If so, that is probably the reason it's not getting to you. In the past, Microsoft has said if we install a leaked build, the next one won't install.

Yup. At least it's good news that 10061 is on its way!

Hmmm, I've installed 10056 too. Guess I need to go to the Insider page and download the last ISO and reinstall Windows 10041.

That should work? I think? We'll see.
