Surf away! :)
Thank you all who tested this. Running 10056 now from 10049. I did this straight from the iso setup in the folder. No need to copy to usb. Install wouldn't take keeping my settings so I had to do a clean install.
First couple of boots gave me a jumbled lockscreen picture, weird start menu crashing, etc. Other than that, it's working pretty good after a couple reboots. Start is still buggy though.
Got the awesome dark mode going for settings and other apps. Really hope they do a new file manager that takes the dark theme too. I'm sooooo ready to stop seeing white!
You could use a high contrast theme.I'm sooooo ready to stop seeing white!
Personally, I like white, but I come from an era that rolled a piece of 8 1/2" X 11" white paper into a typewriter. My typewriter ribbon was half black and half red. I still prefer that way, except that my "paper" is on my monitor, rather than in my keyboard. :)
Over the years, I have tried high contrast, but for me it doesn't work. It's just too "busy" and distracting. I would settle for typing on a white background with very sharp black letters instead of the light gray on white I have now.
What about "Dark theme": Unlock a secret dark theme in Windows 10 with a registry hack anybody try that yet ?
