Well, that's a wrong approach. Web browsers should be designed to work with existing websites without bugging site owners.
I agree. Funny how spartan works absolutely fine with mac forums and not here though (where any copy paste will definitely fail). The forum software is the same...

Just did a clean install and it took only 15 minutes. Looks good and it's stable...

Otherwise, it (Spartan) will have a hard time gaining popularity and will just leave a negative first impression.
I agree with this in theory, Robot! Back when I was learning to build websites, I had to "use" every browser out there and be sure that my "site" worked with all of them. So if Spartan should be the only browser that isn't working to what users think is its full potential, they'll go elsewhere for one that works well. However . . .
As to
That's probably a flaw in the software Ten Forums is using.
as a not at all expert in forums, I will say that all software can use the occasional update, and Ten Forums is not alone in that. As a member of one particular Forum (they're using that nasty old Linux and Apache something or other), :) we're always informed of every update and asked to give feedback on anything we see that might hinder our enjoyment of the forum(s).
I guess what I'm saying is that, although Spartan has a long way to go in my not so expert opinion, just as hardware manufacturers must, even Forum and Site builders must make some concessions to a new browser and/or operating system, just like AMD, Realtek, Intel, etc.

Adam, Spartan's not the only browser that has that problem, as well as a host of other problems when posting here. I get it with IE and Firefox too. Not sure about Chrome, since I'm saving that one for my last test. :)

Try Maxthon Nitro, too.

Agreed, but that's not Spartan's problem. Some web sites do "browser sniffing" to offer various features (like cut and paste). This is the wrong approach, and they should be "feature sniffing" instead, but a lot of web developers are too lazy, too inexperienced, or just have a lot of legacy code that's too hard to change and needs to be rewritten.
There are now lots of tools to detect if browsers support given features, and there is no longer any need to do browser sniffing, but theres a lot of old code out there.
