Can I assume you are running Hyper-V and VMware on 2 different machines? While it is possible to dual boot such virtualization products its rather a kludge. I can only do it reasonably by dual booting with Linux (openSUSE Leap) where WS 12.1.1 is so near bare metal speed I really can't tell the difference. An of course you can install Tools as well. Now I've got Hyper-V to work (apparently - the virtual switch installed nicely) I going to make a Windows 10 Hyper-V VM and check the speed. Alas I can't test nested Hyper-V VMs because I have an AMD processor. Maybe I could buy an Intel processor but there are (as always) budgetary restraints. I'm not working with other peoples money :)

The WS 12 and 12.1 VMs all running now together initially saw the 10 Home and one 10 Pro VM(upgrade from 7 Pro on VM) on the second desktop used for testing purposes. The two were later moved to the main build due to the much larger drive capacities and of course 4 times as much ram while this has left the second desktop wide open for Hyper-V projects. That was one of the main ideas behind the move since the two options simply don't work friendly with each other one canceling the other out.

The new build however has brought in a few interesting changes to the Hyper-V that need to be looked over besides simply seeing any VM project started up as replacement(s). Both builds here run AMD cpus with an Atholon II on the mini case while the main has the Phenom II 975 there. Missed out on getting the Black edition 980 originally but took the first 965 and set that up on another case for someone. Previously I did try running both WS and Hyper-V on the main and found that a useless endeavor fast!

As for all else on the 361 nothing else has come up as far as previously seen minor annoyances like Windows sounds not playing. After seeing the last 3 or 4 builds go on you wouldn't have even known they did here once the sound and sound card issues were addressed. The 295 and 316 saw those problems. And the last build or so running into Insider Hub issues while this one saw that automatically appear on one of the VMs with the question pertaining to the new Start menu in 10. Got a chance to point out that tiles should seen only when in the Tablet mode for the most part.

I use Hyper-V quite extensively, haven't noticed any changes in past few builds? Containers, yes, but that's has been available in Hyper-V and Windows Servers, it was now brought to Windows 10 Pro, too.

Anyway, for a normal Hyper-V user the containers are just a nice toy. Interesting, yes, useful for normal private use, no.

EDIT: Reading my post I noticed it came out a bit harsh. That was not my intention; I simply posted a question about if you have noticed some other changes which I have missed.

I still haven't gotten around to setting up anything on Hyper-V as far as the second pc anyways to see how things will go on the now 8gb originally 4gb mini tower. Plus the OS still has to be selected for the first project. With several 10 VMs I will be looking at perhaps a couple of distros as well as another step by step upgrade to 10 project which will likely be recorded.

The unfortunate side there is not seeing Hyper-V on 7 or seeing 10 drivers or at least 8.1 64bit drivers for the usb WiFi adapter for other wireless networking tests. You can thank Cisco/LinkSys for not keeping up there. I ran into Network filter problems before that still need to be resolved once I get going on Hyper-V again.

As for anything new as far as changes that haven't been announced I would think you would have a better idea on that. The blog mentions the new Hyper-V containers which of course will be for the Server side. First getting Hyper-V going and then comparing notes for the last project may show what changes if any are now seen.

A giant watermark has just appeared on my b14328 demanding that I Activate W10IP.

Apparently W10IP won't upgrade now unless I hand over another W7 license (I "upgraded" my laptop from W7 Home Premium to W10 Home a few weeks ago).
I'm not going to trash my desktop to run beta software.

Meanwhile the only odd ball item was seen on VM more so while not seen on either desktops's upgrade from the 352 build. The popup for offering feedback on the "New Start menu" came up on the three VMs presently in op one being for the Home edition another being the upgrade from 7 on VM project.

That sprang out from the lower right as would the try Office 365 banner previously being seen when first arriving at the desktop after the "Let's Start" finishes up. Just discovered I never got around to adding two more things I had planned to run on 10 were not installed on 10 still but were there on the 7 side of the dual boot still running as always! That would further the gaming performance tests with two updated sequels to the older Legacy - XP titles along with the other Steam titles. Want to get those on before July comes along with the anniversary update for sure.
