I just tried it myself for you. I updated from PRO to ENT, and back to PRO using your steps above...

    Upgraded from Pro to Enterprise:

    Attachment 81797

Then back from Enterprise to Pro.

    Attachment 81798

All that is needed is to enter the key and then Restart the PC.
Wow. What's the matter with MS ? They actually make things easier ?

    Thank you.

Clone and upgrade.... just play around with it..

Edit: Actually, you don't need to clone, you can just restore back your image..

But take note, I did not play around with it after the upgrade to Enterprise. I just upgraded and reverted back to Pro within 3 minutes.

Well, which one you have now, Ent or Pro ?
If you are back to Pro, is everything working fine ?
I am quite sure "upgrading" from Pro to Enterprise will be fine.
My concern is, how is it after going back to Pro.

I'm back to Pro now and everything is good.

Great. Now I can tell people they don't have to do clean install anymore.
    Thank you.

    Forgot to ask:
What product keys did you use ?
Specifically, did you use the generic key to go back to Pro ?
