Late this week & next week, not this week or next week? That sounds promising. :)

I couldn't find Skype for Desktop to install, Edwin. They've hidden it from me.

Mmmm hmmm, I hope that *really* interesting thing isn't more of this stupid Skype Preview!

StarFerret bit me for letting it get onto her computer, then ran under the desk so I couldn't bit her back!

    Edit: those *really* interesting things

I recently downloaded and installed it. It was the desktop version. skype.com is where I would have got it from.

They are fully capable to work side by side, no need to uninstall anything. I use Skype preview for one Skype account (same as my Windows 10 sign-in account), and Skype Desktop app for another Skype account.

BTW @Wynona, I have tested this:

When you sign in to Windows 10 using an MS account, the Skype Preview app uses that account to sign you in to Skype Preview by default. However, you can sign out and sign back in with a different Skype / MS account.

1.) Click your profile button bottom left:

    2.) Click Sign out:

3.) Enter the username / email address of your preferred Skype / MS account or create a new account:

4.) Sign in with the other Skype / MS account credentials:

    That's it.

    Note   Note
Please notice: in my tests this can only be done once! When you have signed out and signed back in using another Skype / MS account, the username field is showing your username grayed out when you sign out and want to change the Skype sign-in account again, with no possibility to change it:

Only option I have found to change the Skype user second time in Skype Preview app is to use PowerShell to uninstall Skype Preview, reinstall it and start from beginning.

So far, Kari, I've met only failure with this. It has never asked me for my password and refuses to budge off my @live account.
