Could be they are still trying to fix the slow bug on the new build.
They should stop calling it Slow and Fast Ring... just Fast and Faster ring.. I think the word "Slow" jinxed it.

Fortunately I haven't had that issue.
My 10049 install is a "clean upgrade". That is, a clean install of 10041 upgraded immediately to 10049. And I finished everything from 10041 download to 10049 upgrade within an hour and a half. I don't understand why a lot of people is having that slow bug issue.

Fortunately I have not had that issue just let the upgrade happen and see if everything works took half an hour last time. I do want to test the upgrade part I do not like to have to reinstall all my stuff.

When it first upgraded, I had to force stop it because I need to disconnect the other hard drives first. Then when I started it back, it only took around 25minutes. But when I did a clean installed and upgraded, it took longer.

What's your line speed? Download speed as told by your ISP?

OK then you should get it in about 6 minutes in ideal conditions and no overhead, in reality in 10 to 15 minutes.
