Spartan Needs its own topic area

Update downloaded and installed in 1hr 10mins from start of download.
Spartan initial testing of historic web sites that have perl, cgi, multiple java script created 1999 onwards etc:-
Most appear to still be functioning correctly but a couple of issues
Iframes not showing internal scroll bars ( cant find a setting saying allow active x content.

But this following one appears to be a major issue:;-
It appears that it only manages to open files on the web (web-centric); sites resident on my c drive will not open.

file:///wwwroot/mysite/index.htm gives: hmm we can't reach this page
Right click: open with project spartan gives the same result; also cant drag it into spartan.
I cant find a button to open a local file, am I being more stupid than usual
Anybody help with locally hosted files(sites) that are obviously not on Bing

Weird bug, when logging some times is shows the word "other user" then reverts back to the actual name when logged in. Local account.
That started with 10041. Local account is referred to as "Other User". Main user is the Microsoft account. You don't see that if you are logged in to MS acct.

I wanted to test spartan before totally given up on windows 10. Now, I have done that.

I think Microsoft is going to have to change some things, it maybe a little bit more of headache to do. With this last build that includes spartan.

A lot of computers have 64 bit with only 4 gb of ram.
Microsoft needs a way to upgraded 64 bit of upgrading to Windows 10 32 bit (Yes, I know it is not technically called 32 bit) I notice with this latest build it seems a little slower. I need to test the 32 bit as a clean install to see if runs better. I might make a follow post once I install the 32 build.

My opinion on spartan is nothing to write home about. It also strange how spartan opens up.

I also notice another issue, Windows changes the names of some options and features and some are harder to find. Tech wouldn't have an issue with that but average person might if upgrading from windows 7. The only way I would get windows 10 if its free without having to upgrade and get the 32 bit on an iso for a clean install. It took me a while to make up mind. I have finally made my mind up about whether to get 10 or not. For the time being I am not going with 10. By the way, with all the changes it is not a mixture of windows 7 and 8.1. More toward 8.1 that my opinion. I don't see windows 10 gaining much windows 7 users.

I agree that Spartan.. well it's not much right now and it's too "spartan" for me at least. Right now unless MS can make it much better I'll stick with Cyberfox/Chrome combination.
