A bit late to this party .... :)
I like the new build, not sure about the new defender icon though, only from the aspect that the noobs may not differentiate from the malware that typically has a similar icon, though colored, etc.
Other than that, looking good so far!
That never required a registry hack but was simply one of the options for seeing the system automatically sign into a specific account when first powering up or following a full restart. The new option is strictly for seeing an automatic sign in only when applying updates and not when powering up or any other time the system sees a restart. Otherwise the system will remain locked until signed into manually on every other occasion if any password, pin code, or image was assigned.
Gigabyte support time if that is the same as what you have in your system specs! You may have to settle for an 8.1 update however since 10 is still very new as far as support goes! It's typical to see a full year wait at times. 7 had the advantage of being able to use Vista updates while 10 so far has seen 8.1 stuff put to work. GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket AM3+ - GA-78LMT-S2P (rev. 3.1)
If that is the Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2P M2 model board that only goes as far as 7 x64! Ut oh! No finding any 8, 8.1 support being too old apparently. A separate updated still 7 compatible sound card that sees at least 8.1 support would be an idea to get that solved fast. I am now considering taking that route as well to get around the constant 8.1 update with web updater to 10 patch which so far hasn't been seen for the old model card here as far as a separate 10 download available. 10 and what comes later will need that support that won't be seen for the present card in use! That stopped mostly with 8.1 simply being too old.
That's good! Waiting for reply back from one of the game developers for a new addon mod that requires an updated form of VS having just put VS 2013 on and still a no install. Funny those old 2000-2001 Legacy to XP titles are still running strong despite any 3rd party Steam developer problems!
I used the MS ISO for 14332 and clean installed. It gave an option to install Windows 10 Pro Technical Preview or Windows 10 Technical Preview.
I'm waiting now for Windows to connect to the Upgrade Servers to download 14342.
It's no longer "Technical Preview" as it was a year ago but "Insider Preview". I found the only option to go from one build to next as far as an upgrade is by way of the Windows Updates. Attempts at upgrade by other means simply ends up with a second forced clean install. That was found the first time by way of upgrade from BT folder while the next will be the upgrade to newer by way of a mounted ISO once the 342 is available. That won't likely be seen until the next build is almost out however.
