It could be something with sign in options and/or sync settings. Are you sign in with MS account or local, and do you have sync enabled?

    Another mystery then.

Edit: perhaps input from other Edge users would be helpful to clear this up. Do you have ability to save passwords in Edge and to manage them?

    i jump in guys,

again a strange update for me.

Build 14332 was aborted, because install went wrong (as before as some of you know), got the message we will go back to a previous version, so i left things has they where.

So the morning after to my big surprise Build 14332 was installed. Probable this happened during the night.

Next update i will do during daytime and will take a few shots for everyone to see what happens.

    Hi,
is there any chance to roll back to 14316 without losing all data and settings?
I have the 14316 ISO, but when trying to downgrade, there is no option to keep the settings.
    Ideas?
You could go back to the latest General Release by selecting Stop Insider Preview Builds in Settings>Update and security>Windows Insider Program. That should roll you back to GR, keeping all your apps and data. Then, grab your 14316 ISO, mount it and run setup.exe to do an in-place upgrade. Be sure to have the Insider Preview slider set for Slow (all the way to the left) after completing that. (Make an image before doing this, just in case...and remove any 3rd part AV, hardware monitoring software, and other things which might cause hic-cups.)

Did not know that, but certainly will take a copy of that possibility and keep it at hand.

    Could be usefull

    thanks

Hi Jeff. It should work fine; I have never left the Insider Preview myself, but I do know from others posting here, that stopping Insider Builds will roll you back to GR. It makes sense then, if you use your existing 14316 ISO from your system to do an in-place upgrade (which I have done several times), and set to SLOW Ring, you should stay there for a while. Cheers!

I downloaded the new edition this morning and I can't say I am very impressed with the new start menu but, I guess it will grow on me? :)

I think most who rely on the Start menu the most are quite annoyed by the new Redstone 1 Alphabetical layout over seeing the AllApps at the bottom as the old All Programs had been until now! They wanted to make it more Tablet Friendly obviously with the new icons seen along the bottom left while the graph for Start above those will widen that part out covering over all the programs so you can at least see which is what!
