I don't need to use the mouse or even have my monitor running to do this.
You can do it in 3 keystrokes: hit + X , then hit U, then hit U for shutdown or R for restart etc

How about just making Restart and Shutdown buttons on taskbar, one click is enough. I keep only Restart because my keyboard and computer case have turn off buttons and it's enough to touch them

    Thanks adamf. :)

    I'll try that out later.
It was not obvious to me that the new Power button has "hot keys".

They are underlined but on my screen at least the underlining is so faint I can hardly see it unless I put my nose about 3 cm from the screen....

this is funny, with me (+u) is start menu and ease of access, and (+R) is run. I just made icons on my desktop and that works good and fast for me

    quick access

about those files in quick access, first it was some "chatlogs " from EVE that i never created, and "Assets" from App data microsoft windows delivery manager local state , so i deleted EVE, (one folder at a time, it was the only way) but i don't think i should do that to those files, they look important, funny that soon as i deleted "chatlogs" there was this "Activation Store" also from delivery manager Windows 10 build 10041: Known Issues-quick.png

Just FYI: You can escape the Start Menu full screen in the bottom right corner, ('desktop peek'), as well as the bottom left, without minimizing other applications.

    Notification Icon

In b10041, my Notification icon is always lit up after I login, presumably indicating that there is a notification I should view.

After I've clicked on it and seen that there aren't any notifications in the list, the Notification icon returns to the correct state (not lit up).
