    How about the "recently added apps" notification @ bottom left. Persistent at being there..Go Away!!!
    It goes away after a bit, Meebers. I added Solitaire and Mahjong this afternoon and the notification is gone now.

    I've just completely clean reinstalled 10041 on two computers and am amazed at how well they are running and how small the footprints are, about 10GB.
    Even though I clean installed 8879 and 9926, they never ran like this, this is certainly a step in the right direction. Even the new updates all installed straight away with no errors, this is the happiest I've been since the start of the 10 Previews.

    You can do it in 3 keystrokes: hit + X , then hit U, then hit U for shutdown or R for restart etc
    this is funny, with me (+u) is start menu and ease of access, and (+R) is run. I just made icons on my desktop and that works good and fast for me
    I've just tried it and it works for me (in b10041).

    When you press "Windows Logo + X" and then "U", you should see this:

    Exactly + X brings up the menu. Then press U for the shutdown sub-menu and then press R for restart (or U for shutdown).

    Note that this is only in English. + X stays the same (you still get the menu) but in French the other sub-menu shortcuts keys change. You can see them though - they are underlined as you can see in the picture above that @lehnerus2000 posted.

    For example, in French I do + X but then D and then R to restart... It is OK when you learn the shortcuts - they are underlined anyway - and the same work in Windows 8. It is annoying when you boot up Windows 7 and the + X does nothing of course :)

    Indeed it is. I think I forgot what the question was actually and started off on a tangent - I just like keyboard shortcuts, that's all.

    I never knew these had "sub hotkeys". Here's the list (U.S. English):

    A = Admin Command Prompt
    C = Command Prompt
    D = Desktop
    E = File Explorer
    F = Programs and Features
    G = Computer Management
    K = Disk Management
    M = Device Manager
    O = Power Options
    P = Control Panel
    R = Run
    S = Search
    T = Task Manager
    U = Shutdown/Sign out menu
    S = Sleep
    I = Sign Out
    R = Restart
    U = Shutdown
    V = Event Viewer
    W = Network Connections
    Y = System

    Sometimes mine is there the next day after cold boot etc. but eventually goes away. I would like it to disappear after you click it (Acknowledge the message) Where did you get your solitaire, is it the old MS version or a new app in the store? I don't play many games but like Solitaire. :)
