OMG, that doesn't sound right. I don't think it should take that long.

Still "installing" if it's what it's still doing. Anyone can tell me if it's normal? It says that my PC will restart in a feel moments but nothing yet! I think it did not froze cause I can see the dots moving in the installation message and the red light of my HD is flashing like some work is being done!

Seems like you'll just have to stick with it and hope the outcome is ok. It definitely shouldn't take anything like that length of time though.

I will leave the PC on for days if I have to as long it fixes the problem :) If it fail will it at least say it to me? There is a cancel button so if I get tired of it can I cancel the process? will I lose everything?

No, you shouldn't lose anything if there is a "cancel" button you can use.

    No progress!

Don't know if I'm just unlucky or if it has something to do with the update messing win10 so bad that it can't be fixed.

davidhk do you think it has something to do with the ISO being mounted and not burned? I really never installed from a mounted ISO :)

By now I should just click cancel right? or should I wait?

I really wished this problem was because I'm stupid cause at least I could format, install win10 again and never be afraid but now I want to use win7 in my affected PC like I'm using in this notebook here! Really this notebook was not formatted in like 6 years and it's running OK!

Personally I don't think it's working as I wouldn't expect it to take so long and should probably be cancelled as you'll be waiting forever but I'd wait to see if someone more knowledgeable can chip in.

the weirdest thing happened! Now in the installation screen I'm stuck in the lower right corner that win10 watermark thing saying to activate windows appeared

going to leave it for more time and see what happens but it's soooo strange!
