I cant even run firefox. anything that runs on flash, is a slide show, its really slow.

I uninstalled firefox, flash. reinstalled and it still does it.

chrome has some stutter in flash when multitasking.

When I go to open up Waterfox previously having FF set for the default on the 14295 build I will be greeted with the prompt to see WF made the default browser as FF did on each other build. Then you will still need to make the trip into Start>Settings>System>Apps & Features to the intended browser made the default through the option there.

IE11 was still found enabled following each new build going on since the 10565 clean install. For some reason that continues to carry over to each newer build without even needing to look as well as the other browsers only needing to see Edge replaced as the default. The folder view in Explorer and Windows Photo Viewer still have to be enabled fresh all over again however.
So far I haven't seen that (And I don't want to!). I just get the window asking how I want to open this no matter which browser I have set as my default. I would hate for Windows not to honor my default settings. Hmmm, since it's asking a silly question, I guess in a way my default browser setting isn't being honored.

I run everything with Edge Browser and have no trouble with it at all
No stutter when multitasking or running you tube and I have had up to 10 tabs open at same time and still no problem.
Have even shut down with them all open and as soon as I have logged back in all tabs have reloaded ready for me to go into them again.
I use no other Browser at all

Looks like (spam) mail sender will react before MS. Newest mail from Amazon opens without confirmation window. :)
So maybe MS sent a KB overnight? Not likely! :)

I don't like the way Edge works in TenForums at all! For me, it's just not ready.

    Insider Preview 14316

I wonder if anyone has this issue.
I always set my computer to sleep when I close my laptop lid. And password is required upon wake up.
That has been my setting since I was running Vista, 6 years ago.

With this new build, I was unable to login when I open the lid.
It gave me a nice picture and an active cursor, but no password box.
Ctrl + Alt + Del did not help.

So, each time, I have to do a hard shutdown > then reboot.

adding........... yes, I did double check the power options settings.

Have you tried clicking the little dialog box with 1 beside? Or try just clicking Ctrl button.

    Bingo.
Ctrl key alone is the answer.
