In build 10586, and 10240 for instance.
Yes, of course it is . Wouldn't though off that.

Sorry, just wanted to be funny, but probably haven't been. Thanks for helping.

It's staggering that Microsoft has decided to unify it's code base for Windows 10 in all its flavours, editions, and so on, farm out the beta testing to enthusiastic Insiders, and has created a monstrous multi-headed support nightmare in place of a nice orderly patch Tuesday panic! :)

I tend to play things Dead-pan, because it is easy to offend some folk if a serious remark is taken as being a joke, or the other way around!

I thought Technet closed its doors on software.[/QUOTE]

Unfortunately it stopped giving unlimited licenses and downloads for an ordinary subscription of $150. This was a steal - I got several Windows 7 fully licensed images but lost my Windows 8/8.1 images so the key is useless.

However you can still get time limited evaluations of many products (many 180 days!). here.

WARNING - be wary of going into safe mode.

Went into safemode via msconfig boot option and had a flashing desktop with an error flashing as well. With much effort I found the error said, "Get Started app can't be opened with the Built-in administrator account. Sign in with a different account and start again".

I had signed in with my MS account as per usual.

This happened with both my 14316 comps.

I struggled to work out a way of getting back control as the flashing didn't allow me to run msconfig again or do anything much else. Winkey/R didn't work either.

In the end I booted with my trusty win boot disk and got up the command prompt.

I ran "bcdedit /deletevalue {default} safeboot" then rebooted. The comp did a disk check on restart and came up normally.

If you want to get into safemode, be prepared for an emergency strategy!
Yes, I have experienced this too. Big blue screen

Well, this is the third time I've tried to do this, so I'm just going to cut to the chase and name the sites that ask what I want to use to open:

DIY Network, HGTV and Amazon.com. All have been opened in the past without issue. In fact, Amazon.com is an email (10/6/15) that was sent to give me access to software I'd purchased , so I knowthat opened without issue! I get emails from DIY and HGTV daily, and have had no issues with them until Build 14316 dropped.
Yes, you are correct, Wynona. I tested with some of my email from Amazon, Staples. Each time, it ask what you want to open this with. Not doing this before this build. another bug to report!!!

Is Windows 10 seeing these emails as files, say with .HTML extensions, or as protocols, like URL:outlookmail by reading the headers?

Some of email I subscribe to, including computer magazine newsletters and health related newsletters open without asking how I want to open them but others like Amazon, Walmart, staples ask how I want to open these. I use I.e as default browser and I think Wynona uses FF.
EDIT: PCWorld newsletters ask how I want to open, ZDNET and CNET do not ask how I want to open.
