Put me in the list of crashing too:
    Yeah, thought that might happen.

For now, with the issues I already have, I'm not going to go any further with Foxit. I was only "in" to test, not because I want to use it. I have a free version of Nuance PDF Viewer Plus (it's no longer available) that beats everything out there, hands down, so I'm not in the market.

Good luck with Foxit; it seems y'all are in need of some luck.

Nah, I was in testing phase too. I use Adobe Reader (I know :)), but I have my own reasons.
Uninstalled Foxit, until next time. New build tomorrow anyhow.

Tomcat, even with Ninite, and I noticed that @Andre has it, it seems that Fafhrd still has trouble with Foxit crashing.
I realize that Foxit is crashing for some, just addressing the installation path.

This may be Jeff's Crystal Ball Source:

@lolz72829178 @gabeaul We have a new candidate that has the PCI bug fixed, but it will not be ready to promote today. Still evaluating it.

I sure don't need a crystal ball! There're enough folks here who know somebody who knows somebody . . . :)

Page after page about Foxit, got interested. Installed it using PowerShell OneGet, no issues. Runs without any problems.

Notice the version. PS OneGet always downloads the latest stable installer offered by the software provider (see yellow highlight in below screenshot). OneGet installed version 7.2.8.1125 for me (green highlight):

Yep I did use the Express source with 1,020KB first. The file has an official Foxit sig.

Then I tried the 42MB source and it took forever @~11min! (I can usually get Windows 10 x64 setup iso d/l in less than 5 min)

Jeffs source at download 3K took a few seconds

Ninite took seconds, but a longer install time as it d/ld during install.

There are still different behaviours and errors after install between the differently sourced setup files:

Thanks Kari, and apologizing for "few pages". The link on the foxit site is to version 7.3.4
Your version is very like Ninite version. Thanks for the info about OneGet will look into it.

I might misunderstand something: do you guys want to get Foxit working? As my first screenshot shows, version 7.2.8.1125 works perfectly, at least when installed using PowerShell OneGet.

Kari, Fafhrd does indeed want to get Foxit working. I don't, nor does Andre; however, we're both willing to learn.

I have just downloaded Power Shell One Get to Word and will study it.
