Do you actually think any of us Insiders could wait for Microsoft and our PC to confer, Larc!? Really?
That's what I thought, but tinmar49 having to wait 5 days threw me since I'm always able to download new builds immediately when Gabe announces them.

Depends of the kind of version you have. Professional and Home US version are usually the first to show. This time I think academic (enterprise) and UK version shows 4 to 5 days later. Even Kari didn't get them before.

With every new build, there are inevitably some who don't get it the first day out. I generally get new builds on the first day, but a couple of times I had to wait a couple or three days. I'm running Pro 64 bit.

Got my first video that wouldn't play because it said I need to upgrade to the latest flash. Which I already have a couple or three days ago.

OK, Gabe, we want that new build this week not next week!
Be careful with that button on your head. Somebody may hit it (and hoping it would be Gabe)

sometimes I run into this bug. I rename a file. and windows gives error saying there is already folder with that name.

well there is a folder with same name in the same directory.

but Im not renaming a folder. Im renaming a file....

When not having the second desktop running at all from late December into the Start of February as well as the Threshold 2 update going buggy after a few months I had to wait and wait and wait like some others also had to for a look at 14257 build which finally arrived only days before the 14267! That was from not being in the Fast ring since November and then seeing the 257 repair the issues that were being seen with the TH2.

The next few builds since were a 5-6hr. wait while these last two were right there without any wait. So you have to expect a randomization at times as to who gets what first. A lot has to do with who hits the Insider not simply regular upgrade servers sooner when each new build is made ready.

I can confirm your practice with one small addition: when I click "Check for updates" not later then 10-15 minutes later when MS servers are ready then in most cases I get a build. If later then 30 minutes then no chance to get even some hours later. Seems that MS servers servers N-requsts and rejects others till the 1st N will be served. Then new N-ones will be served. Too many insiders had to be served :)

I cant even run firefox. anything that runs on flash, is a slide show, its really slow.

I uninstalled firefox, flash. reinstalled and it still does it.
Sometimes files in the FF User Profile get corrupted.

Did you create a new FF User Profile or did you reuse your previous one?
