    Windows 10 Pro,

OK, here are a couple of real quick observations regarding this build and some of its features. It installed quick and easy with no problems, everything seems to work correctly and I have had no problems. But...

BASH is useless. I have it installed and have worked with it and it seems like just a big joke. Oh well, nothing gained nothing lost.

What is TEST TAKER? I have ran this new app several times and I can't figure out what it does. Back to the drawing board.

Thanks, I wonder why, Ubuntu is x86 and x64, and developers still use x86
What's more I was hopeful of showing off 4 consoles, but one's still missing:

Rocky, last night several of us on a Skype call tried to use Test Taker and when we clicked on it, we got a "screen" for a second or so and then it disappeared. Our conclusion was that it must be a place holder for something new.

As far as Bash is concerned, I would think that unless one knows something about Linux, it would be pretty much useless, so I haven't bothered to try it.

    Windows 1.00 to Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Build 14971.1000

When I pinned some apps to the Start folder, the apps won't open from there.

I'm on 6 MBPS connection and I can do everything I want while I'm downloading a new build.

I totally forgot that I had installed Git Bash manually on both EDU and ENT machines, and that it is of course not the same Bash as this new built-in Bash.

My deepest apologies, I was already wondering why this new built-in Bash brought nothing new to old Git Bash I already knew. How incredibly stupid I am...

Thanks Wynona. I am a Linux user and I have been beta testing Ubuntu 16.04 for a couple of months now. I am a big fan of Ubuntu and Linux in general, but I see no practical use for BASH on Windows 10 yet. Of course I will continue to play with it to see if I can figure out a good solid excuse to use it.

Yes the Test Taker does open a screen for a second which immediately disappears so I guess that we will find out someday what it is all about.

Noticed it has an Uninstall option, which does not work.

I'm running BASH Kari, no problem there. Just does not do much yet, but I am still experimenting. I just used BASH to install a program from Linux. I used the command

    apt-get install thunderbird

and I sat right here and watched it connect to my local Ubuntu server, download and unpack and install Thunderbird. After all that (about 5 minutes to download and install) I can't find Thunderbird on my computer anywhere. I will try some more experiments.
