I am in the insider program. But waiting for this new build. And I have it set to fast.
In some cases there is a rather long delay before the updates begins. Rebooting a few times might help but in most cases it's just being patient and you'll get it.

Anyone experience failure to be able to get shutdown or any power option to work. Had to go to Godmode to shutdown.
I just did my first shutdown since the upgrade to 14316 and no problems shutting down on my install.

The new Start menu isn't due until the Redstone 1 general release coming up in July for the one year anniversary. This build has a few other things like the updated Action Center and ActiveStart and ActiveEnd times for scheduling updates to work around your normal activity period. That will work here for the time period I am usually elsewhere!

Maybe we'll lucky and they change their mind and leave it alone

OTOH they seem to like to break thinks that work fine

So wait, there is a new start menu change in build 14316? Dang, I would then keep my update 1511 then. Just kidding, if the start menu is better than I will go for it. But I will mostly go for it anyway :)

Thanks. Guess it is just my two systems. They both refused to shutdown until I went to God mode. After initial shutdown the shutdown process does seem normal from the power icon. Same for both computers.

Nope.. not yet. I suspect it will be included in a future insider build before RS1 hits the public.

Upgraded to 14316 this morning and was very presently surprised because I was thinking I would need to do a clean install because of some issues I was facing. In the last 2 updates, running Search in File Explorer would crash the program. It is not doing this in this release. I had only two chicklets in stead of the 30+ in the Start Area in 14295. I put a number back in this morning and they seem to be staying. System Restore was turned on in this build which seems to be an every other build problem...no in 295 and yes in 316. Still seeing UAC fully turned on which had not happened before 14295.

I don't mind the loss of the completion circle at installation and this build seemed to complete within 20 minutes (pretty fast). All in all I am happy with this build and still playing with a lot of the new feature.

I agree., It was nice to have but far from necessary. And my update took about 25 minutes in total. So far I'm rather happy with this build.

I just noticed that Edge now has Pin Tab option like Chrome/FF.
