Well most of the time you wouldn't be seeing the RocketDock bar there since that will be either set to pop up on mouse over or not at all. With this new build on now however I lost a few gadgets as well as no longer seeing any watermark and now the new Quick Assist found only in the Start>Windows Accessories that is now see right above the Remote Desktop Connection option. That can be pinned to the upper portion of the Start menu, Start 10, and task bar if needed.

I tried to use the Windows 10 start menu for a week but I could not take it anymore and installed Classic Shell on all of our Windows 10 PC's. What I hated the most about the 10 start menu is that there is no customizing options. I love Classic Shell as I can customize any program on the start menu.

Well this is just one Con being mentioned in contrast to the Pros people have been finding with the 3rd party apps. Yet MS has made some changes with their form of revised Start menu since what you saw months back or last year at this time. The alphabetical ordering was a sudden fast Con pulled while the reorg of the power options, Settings, File Explorer, Network, and even Admin account turned into icons along the left edge of the Start menu.

All this however only amounts to one thing. Personal Preferences! Since everyone has their own the best MS could ever hope to accomplish as far as making "Best Sellers" is incorporating a degree of flexibility into Windows instead of the need to find some 3rd party app with each newer version to get the same results as far as "Personalization" goes.

This would be the Windows 10 Start Menu I desire. Nothing more!

Even with Start10 the Settings and a few other things are set off to the side not pinned above the AllApps as you have it there. You can still pin a most to the Start menu where they will appear in that type of order however.

No you are not. I hate them too. I find a list in alphabetic or date order much easier and quicker. Fine for tablets and phones where text is too small to be readable, but why foist tiles on desktops?
Maybe because some need big tiles to see and find stuff easier. Also very good when using a TV set as monitor at a distance and text or icons would have to be very large. Only fault I can find with tiles is that desktop applications don't have full icon on them like proper APPs do. Also my pet peeve, menu should open at mouse over on the Start button. That would take only one mouse click to find and start a program in a hurry.

The ONLY issue I am looking for in the new release related to the START MENU, is a guarantee that the start menu issues have all been sorted out --- I don't care either way what it looks like so long as it works ALL THE TIME!

You would need to turn monitor 90 degrees to vertical position.

I took care of the "vertical position" by placing a well pinned, well Quick Launched taskbar on the side rather then top or bottom here. With one of the additional toolbars stretched a bit that produced a form of second taskbar on the taskbar.

That's called how to make the taskbar serve as the alternate Start menu.

I also have links for all desktop programs in folders on the desktop just in case I find myself there. Just an old habit.
