Daily is deadly if, like me, you are on a limited-data connection.

I get 15 gigs a month, and so I like to choose when and what to update,

Not happy at all about the forced updates and new builds in WIn 10 for this very reason.

You don't need to worry. The wonderful source of new Softpedia translated Gabriel Auls rather restrained comment "perhaps more than one build this month" to "DAILY BUILDS, DAILY BUILDS, CLICK HERE AND READ ALL ABOUT IT !!!"

    It worked though didn't it

This ArsTechnica article may explain where the "daily" rumor got started.

Weekly would be ok. I think I've got just enough DVDs to last till RTM!
Put it on a flash drive. Once it's installed and a new build comes out, just use Rufus and rewrite it with the proper one.

I have one for my Legacy BIOS and one for UEFI now. Just waiting for the next build!

    Curiosity question...

If they were daily, or even weekly, and one build was not installed, intentionally or otherwise, what would happen? Are the builds prerequisite or cumlative? Can builds be skipped or must they be installed sequentially? It's easy to see that TOO fast could cause a real logjam!
It's been my experience that if a build is missed, and I go back to the older one to install, when it's finished, I have the latest build.
