I taught my wife how to start the computer, start her games and how to shut it off. Everything else I have to do it. This works out perfectly. She's happy and that makes me happy. :)
I will be doing the same and that would make Erin very happy as well.

I've been using Cyberfox and I really like it,, for me it works better than FF.
I have tried Cyberfox. For whatever reason when I replaced the computer it was installed on I never reinstalled it.

As someone who has used Firefox since they stopped releasing Netscape I have to ask out of curiosity. What was hard to install in Firefox and what isn't intuitive with downloading in Firefox? I have had Firefox crash on occasion. I have also had crashes with IE and Edge.
Flip a coin on Chrome and Firefox for default browsing as far as I'm concerned they both do it well and the other MS browsers do not IMO and IE 11 is EOL anyway but Edge plays some videos well and 1080p Netlix Chrome and F/F wont the but Edge is not my choice for default browser I have all 4 w/Chrome default

@ blutos cousin, IMHO I think the average user who knows little to nothing about computers are going to use whatever came as the default browser. That is unless someone else helps them.
EXACTLY .........and half the time they think a web browser IS Windows anyway

I'm going to have to give Chrome another try. I did have it installed but when I was doing some computer house cleaning I uninstalled it because I wasn't using it. I do know that my son prefers it over the other browsers.

Get the 64 bit chrome download (more secure and can use 64 bit windows ) .Google search engine usually sends you to the 32 bit download but the "other chrome products " link there will get to to the 64 bit link !

No flash plugin needed either Google has their own Pepper flash built in !

I've never understood why people like Chrome, but the trend towards Chrome has been apparent for several years.

On my PC, I used to use FF, but for the last few years I've been using Pale Moon.

Mozilla have just kept making (IMO) stupid changes to FF.
The Developer Tools are horrible these days (compared to a couple of years ago).
Now I dislike using it, unless it has had Classic Theme Restorer installed.

Occasionally I have to use IE, as a few sites can't cope with PM.
A free music site that I visit, doesn't work correctly in IE or PM, so I have to start a VM (or Linux Mint) and use FF for downloading.

That said, I use FF ESR on the TAFE PCs, as it is (IMO) still the best of a bad bunch (Chrome, Edge, FF & IE).

I'm giving Chrome a go for a bit as FF is behaving turd-ish with the last update.
