So many US companies in the list , on Ethispere site i checked the about & contact links to find out where they were based ..no info I had to do a google search to confirm they were American.
Add the fact they charge companies to participate & it looks totally worthless.
Especially amusing the top 5 most ethical hospitals were all in the US did a quick Google & came up with this .
"6. A company as large as HCA is likely to encounter lawsuits, and some rather large ones have bubbled to the surface during the course of its history. One of the most noteworthy occurred in 2003, when the Department of Justice and HCA agreed to a $2 billion settlement, resolving allegations of Medicare and Medicaid fraud and physician kickbacks. HCA also reached multimillion-dollar settlements in 2000 and 2002 related to allegations of systematic overcharging of government payers, among other charges. Last year, The New York Times ran two investigative pieces that criticized the company's cardiac procedures and emergency department practices, claiming HCA has continued allegedly noncompliant practices raised in previous lawsuits. HCA has recently faced DOJ probes related to implantable cardiac defibrillators."

Henry Ford had ethics, he built homes for his workers and help improve their lives, and wanted to build a car the average person could afford. As did many early company manufactures in the US.. Corporate America, corporate everything have lost their moral compass.
Microsoft, Apple and Google are some the most profitable companies in the world, I find no comfort in that. Then again, I believe money is nothing more than a made up entity, it has no real value, it's real goal is to empower some and enslave others. Now if they put at least of 1/3 of the profit or efforts into cleaning up the planet, perhaps I would feel a little better, until then, I will never trust them. IMHO
"Most Ethical" = "Least Dishonest"
Ford is on the list, they didn't take any "bailout $$s" from Uncle Sam and I believe are the top US Car Co. in customer loyalty.
