Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14295 for PC and Mobile Insider
-
I've been gaming as well as running VMs, video captures, and quite a few things on each build I toss on the main. The second desktop lacks the games and capturing hardware while FF 45 x64 is the default on everything lately regardless of build number physical and VM alike. I also keep several browsers on the main. FF as well as any other browser can freeze regardless of the version of Windows you are running as well as the build number.
On 10 switched to FF from Waterfox default for some time on 7! Went to WaterFox when IE 8-9-10 fuzzed up too much years back! Seems like a constant battle to keep only browser in use for that one only. Just remember to clean up the cache on any browser you use as the main! That will help a bit keeping it running good.
pfffffft ......IE 8/9/10 and IE 11 on 7 x64 and 8.x always been train wrecks
I might clean out my browser cache one a month if I remember sometimes longer than that ..and sometimes I deliberately uncheck all that when I'm deleting history.............. it ain't like it used to be on all that and page lookups slow down until you re build some some browser cache anyway up to a point thats all old school thinking now !

No dwm.exe crashing here.
OTOH 10295 is randomly momentarily hanging and I beaming the mouse cursor in the browsers and The W 10 mail client app but it doesn't crash aside from maybe closing the windows 10 runtime mail client and photo app randomly.
I got another freeze-up when I started taking a break and playing solitaire. I just closed it down and will open again in a few just to see what happens.

Well, gaming performance is back to normal after reverting back to 14279. Guess I'll hold off and give the next build a shot.

Good idea, I guess.
I just gave my feedback on freeze-ups. Guess I'll go to the Hub and see what's up there.

Hooooo Boy! I done found me a doozie of a bug!
The following screen shot tells it all, but I'll explain anyway. I was trying to do some quests in the feedback hub and was told I already had games on ten of my devices and that's the limit! Do whatttttttttt!? Yep, I posted feedback on the quest that failed and in general feedback.

What I have done here on several occassions between Waterfox and not simply a stripped form but the first 64bit variant form of FF to be developed note as well as other browsers acting up was to simply nuke them off the drive to see a totally clean install of the same or next or even earlier release if one in particular was suspect of having a bug. On many occasions people have rolled back from the latest to an earlier one when persistent problems were seen. They would then wait until the next newer to come was out.
Here I ran into some initial problems with 44.0.1 as far as FF goes after 42 was doing well and gave Cyberfox a good look. Once you disable the Australian gui option having been developed for Australians in particular you have another generally excellent working form of FF there. Note regardless of which you go with additional extras added on can pose problems at times. Been finding that to be the case with 45 lately!

@Wynona:
You need to logon to OneDrive online and remove the 'devices' you no longer have activated.
Every time you do another install, whether on the same machine or not, it logs a new 'device'.

I keep OneDrive off of the active list to begin with by going into the Task manager>Startup tab and simply disabling it there. That will prevent anything since it simply doesn't start up with 10!

I had that same message on my computer. When I checked on my MS Account I only had seven devices listed. When I went into the store and checked there was ten devices listed.

That can get confusealating at times! daaa. Another MS goober? Sometimes things won't fresh correctly if your whatever is interupted too quickly before an updated configuration is fully saved.
