Don't know if it was mentioned already, (not gonna go through this whole thread to find out!), but the ugly 'arrows' on the notification area seems to be fixed.
I got those once, but it was because there wasn't enough space for the apps listed to all fit. I just unlocked my taskbar, pulled the slider over to resize Quick Launch (I had forgotten to resize it to fit) and it was gone.

Exactly ditto on that comment but more frequent than twice but not frequent and less than 14291 ,it randomly freezes and the mouse cursor I beams and will move and doesn't work until it recovers which usually is not long maybe 30+ seconds .

I've seen 14295 freeze in the Windows 10 email client runtime app , Chrome 45 (or whatever it is now) and Edge which I use for CBS ott video not in the Sony Andoid TV apps , in Roku or on Hulu Plus all without subscribing to CBS All Access and web videos that don't play well or load at all in Chrome on the PC now and then .

I can't rember if it does that freezing outside of the web or W10 mail client app but I think it probably can or has before .

IOW CBS ott ain't worth paying for ....... I already have OTA TV ,Netflix,Amazon Prime ,Hulu Plus , and Dish TV and all the embedded Sony Android TV apps in the TV in here , Roku & the web and all the stuff ..

I have Kodi and spinning metal & Pluto TV and Kodi addons and the Android apps I sideloaded into the TV outside the approved Google play store/Sony stuff also and the TV has a HDMI cable to the PC in here and built in Chromecast .

    Oh.... a PS3 and the PC & PS3 ODD's and it's own 3tb USB hdd too! .

IOW all that is more than I can watch in a lifetime or two

What's odd is I've had zero issues with this and the previous build. Don't know how that is happening.. not complaining.

I had a suspicion they were trying it out, on a compatibility basis, for small portable devices. Maybe, maybe not. Anyway, it's fixed on PC's.

They can keep all that for the phones and tard pads and try out some better stability especially on PC's with all the web browsers & the Windows 10 mail client app

Just tested. I looked like the script provided does works to resolved the sfc /scannow issue!
That's good! You may want to keep track of that if the problem comes up again. Then you won't have to go looking to find out which thread it was posted on. :)

Sure there have always and will continue to be good arguments for Windows clean installs but TBH I don't want to be doing all that every week or two with these Insider builds and have not attributed any problems from using update installs in a good while *here * ofc YMMV .
Well the main thing I refer to there is precisely for trying out a brand new version for the first time and not simply taking everything for granted but first examine the new OS to find out 1) if you will be staying with it or not? And 2) your need to find out what programs will run on it or need to be upgraded by a new version or replaced entirely to accomplish the same tasks. This has always been one reason why companies will be slow to migrate since everything has to be retooled again as far as the software as well as hardware upgrades over time opposed to the down times.

For the initial installs with 10 that was a necessity while MS is now working with upgrade by update where the main components are updated while the rest remains intact. When a bug involving mostly new as well as existing folder renaming came up on the TH2 update the solution was simply allowing the next Insider Preview to replace the problem files. One hour down time total! Compare that to possibly even wiping a drive clean which tends to be seen in prep for either a new version or cleaning up an old drive loaded with clutter. Then you add the time in for seeing everything put back on fresh.

That's never a convenience for anyone but at times a mandate if not simply a basic necessity as you can imagine. Most consider it a royal pain where it counts which is understood! This is why sometimes you have to caution to try a few things to get something fixed before rushing at a last resort option which may not be necessary. With the Insider Preview builds however you have to expect problems since these are not finished retail releases but builds intended mostly for program developers to work with. But MS is allowing the public to sample each newer build since this will now be the method of delivery.

If the problem is solved that easily, wonder what Microsoft's excuse is for not having fixed it yet?
    FYI:

Briefly put: Microsoft has A LOT OF REASONS to not release a 143XX build yet.

mmmm been having random problems loading web pages today in Chrome .

Throughput is reliable and plenty sufficient and more for web pages and 2 1080p videos streaming at once around the house but the latencies are running average @27ms or more which is higher than the 7 ms normal here but nothing extraordinary at all in general ,not even 60ms ...........maybe the Easter bunny sabotaged some CDN's and he ain't made it here yet with my goodies either.........anybody seen him? .
