Can anyone confirm that this script works for build 14295 too?
Just tested. I looked like the script provided does works to resolved the sfc /scannow issue!

You likely need to find a particular thread you may have already posted on to see if you can find it again or use the advanced search option 10F offers. If you remember someone's user name like the OP that would also be a big help in that.

Since 10 is still the new kid on the block with a good number of bugs to be worked out you might actually find a few where this was being mentioned. Upgrade installs from the previous versions especially when first not actually seeing the previous version have a clean install can actually increase the likelihood of the same or similar problems being run into.

As I can add in here those will tend to carry clutter over from the previous version's registry as well as any disk errors and corrupted program files even other then the Windows files themselves. The personal preference for many when a new build if not newer version arrives has always been to wipe a drive clean and see the clean install first until MS pulled a need to upgrade first act with 10.

Sure there have always and will continue to be good arguments for Windows clean installs but TBH I don't want to be doing all that every week or two with these Insider builds and have not attributed any problems from using update installs in a good while *here * ofc YMMV .

If the problem is solved that easily, wonder what Microsoft's excuse is for not having fixed it yet?

It's still beta software and it's just about the same as the last build so I'm not shocked that issue hasn't been addressed yet.

Could it be that there are more important bugs to be dealt with at the moment?

Yeah. Although not as much or badly as before, my computer froze up twice on me yesterday. Gotta send feedback on that.

What's odd is I've had zero issues with this and the previous build. Don't know how that is happening.. not complaining.

Don't know if it was mentioned already, (not gonna go through this whole thread to find out!), but the ugly 'arrows' on the notification area seems to be fixed.
