    It appears it didn't, not for me anyway. I did the upgrade from 10041 to 10049. It took about 30 minutes to do the download, then another 3 hours to get to 30 %. Then about 30 minutes latter it jumped to 100 %.

    I find that when MS changes something, like the install/setup procedure, it takes some Divine Inspiration to know what to click on next to get to where I want to be. It's not real well documented in the setup.

    I did just "Go Forth" and found I could install Windows 10 10041 or even 10049, without a MS account or Password.
    That's a good thing!
