Guess I won't be installing extensions.
It is NOT an Edge Extension.
It has absolutely nothing to do with extensions which are available ONLY in Insider Preview build.

Extension or not, I can't install anything from the store. I only have seven devices in my account.

How would the Store database/your account details think you have more than 10 devices? Maybe caused by the number of times we have had to do clean installs?

I had a similar problem with another service whereby every time I did a win 10 clean install, it logged the occurrence as a "new device".

took me quite a few emails and plenty of arguments to get all the incorrectly logged "devices" removed. Still have no explanation as to why it was happening.

I removed all my devices except for my phone. I've only tried on one device but it seems to have fixed the problem. I still don't know how MS came up with the magic number of ten.
