Oh joy, another Microsoft is evil thread jack. Really, guys? There are plenty of other threads dedicated to the perceived forced upgrade to 10. Why spam this thread and hijack it off topic?
IMHO, new features are long overdue. I'm looking forward to some new code being added.
Apology accepted, thank you for that. Most of the time I just ignore stuff like that, but sometimes it gets to you. When you see it over and over etc. Your not the only one that does it. Every once in a while I'll draw a line in the sand, so to speak. And see what happens.
Don't think I'll freak, I have a wait and see attitude.
Lots of people freaked out about the new data sharing "features" of Windows 10 that are hard to turn off. Maybe with Redstone they are going to increase the amount/types of data they collect.
If they:
- Improve their legacy hardware drivers support
- Stop resetting default apps for file types
- Add more control for users regarding telemetry to stop all the conspiracy theories
- Add back options to disable Windows Update without having to disable the service
- Get back the ability to disable M$ AV Solution, like in older Windows releases (I mean without 3rd party stuff... it's hard to sysprep with that thing enabled sometimes).
- Improve their memory trimming methods, or at least adding an option to set that on or off (Uses unnecessary CPU cycles for nothing, they are breaking their own memory management philosophy... unused RAM is wasted RAM)
That would not freak me out, but raise an eyebrow... hoho
