    Just did Flash Player update. Mine did NOT ask for restart. Just FYI..... TC

    Mine didn't either TC, heck I didn't even know it updated, until I check the updates list. :)

    Doogie is from across the pond, so he got the Jumpin' Jack Flash version, which requires re-boot!

    Maybe it's because earlier I had manually installed the latest version of Flash for Firefox then later ran Windows update and got the IE/Edge version. Could have been getting rid of a few duplicate files.

    Mine downloaded Flash ok also had to do a restart
    By doing that at least I know it went in ok

    This latest upgrade to xxxxx.164 as well as the flash player update caused me plenty of problems. Windows stopped running twice, and Edge hiccupped quite a few times.

    A complete shutdown was the only cure.
