I don't know why you refer to linux as a toy. You are probably a scripting guru.

I think Linux is best for server usage as for personal usage is not as simple for many to transit to from say Windows. Using it as a rescue disk(live) is a great thing but that's all I use it for now. And, yes I have used it before but in the end I go back to Windows.

Just making a point that most specialized programs being used by banks, manufacturing plants, etc. are not running on a toy system.

I thought banks still used Window XP pro, especially for their ATMs (ABMs) that why they are still paying Microsoft to keep updating those.

95% of bank ATMs face Windows XP security deadline - Mar. 4, 2014

I don't agree with this statement

In fact, security experts have chastised the financial industry for putting ATMs on a PC operating system in the first place. They argue ATMs should be using software that is scaled down and less buggy, such as Linux.
Less Buggy? I find all operating systems have bugs. That will never change.

I am sorry to be so mean, but this is not a Linux site it is a Windows 10 site. If I want to read about Linux I'll go to a Linux site. I am primary a Mac person, albeit I do not discuss My Mac use on this site, why because it is for Windows 10. I come here to learn everything I can about Windows 10. This happened over on the Eight Forum, thus I will do everything I can to stop users from posting all their Linux junk. Please take Linux elsewhere. Besides it isn't all that great otherwise it would have a greater portion of the OS System Desktop than one percent.

Some banks do. That's only talking about ATMs.

It says "less buggy", not "not buggy". :)

No worries, I am a windows guy too. But making a false statement like that based only on pictures you see (clearly you haven't tried linux) will not make a Linux discussion stop. It's only a beginning of a longer discussion. Linux users are "geeker" than Windows users.
There are thousands of discussions here which are not even related to Windows or OS, so why not this one? At least this is an OS topic.
    Anyway, end of Linux discussion.

    Cheers!
