I had read your post #61.
I am not sure it has to do with my issue.
    1. I always use Wi-Fi. Never Ethernet.
    2. My install of 14279 was completed.
    3. But unable to connect Wi-Fi.

I have since reverted back to 14271 on Slow ring. Not sure I will try again though I have the iso.
    Thank you.
Missing protocols effects both Wi-Fi as well as Ethernet.

Oh. I thought you said missing Ethernet connection but WiFi was running.

Anyway, I'll have to decide if I want the new build or wait for next one.
    Thank you.

    Finally on 14279!
Funny how Windows resets the tweaks that matter, but the ones you don't care about, they don't touch!

I'd like to get a hold of an ISO as i'm not grabbing the update for some reason, can anyone help me out here please? Maybe link me in a message or something? It'd be greatly appreciated.

I've just clean installed Build 14279.

I prepared the disk using DISKPART and set it to UEFI/GPT.

When I came to the custom install screen I let Windows set up the Partitions and then Windows gives an error message that the partitions are in the wrong order, error 0x8030002e. The partitions are in the order listed in that error page.

Install went on to complete successfully. The Recovery partition shows up in File Manager and Disk Manager. I'm sure that it didn't show up in previous Builds.

still no update to new build. Two days after release! Not on either machine. Usually my laptop gets it right away but not this time!

The installation process has hijacked C-drive space and put a recovery partition on every Insider Preview version I've installed starting with Build 10547. Since I neither need nor want a recovery partition, one of the first things I do each time a new build is installed is delete it and merge that space back into C. I wish somebody would come up with a way to keep that pesky partition from ever being created.

I noticed that too. I have two of them now, 450MB each.
