Yeah, but if we don't preview with our laptops, how is Microsoft going to get it right? They're depending on our feedback, aren't they?
When I travel, I take my dual boot laptop with me just in case we get a new build. Build 14271 dropped the day before I took off this time. :) If things go wrong with a new build, I can boot into the RTM partition. All data is on the external hard drive, so I won't lose any of that,

Lots of people swear by laptops and certainly must use them in some cases as desktops just won't do. You seem to have everything well under control...! For me, though, I find them more trouble than they're worth--I make sure I have a desktop at my destination, or else I do everything "mobile" related (maps, routes, etc.) before I leave home or office. But that's just me and I can certainly see how a decent laptop might be indispensable for some.

Ran that with no luck(or all the luck, granted something being found would possibly tell me what's wrong), also ran CCleaner, AV, Malwarebytes, SuperAntiSpyware, and Spybot, all to no luck. It's just so strange, it was working great before the update, no new programs installed, didn't open any suspicious emails, etc. Just Updated, and all of a sudden, can't get into my file explorer. I've sent feedback to Microsoft about it, but if it's an isolated incident, guessing it won't be taken too seriously, at least not in a quick manner. Hoping another update comes soon that fixes it. Really don't want to have to reinstall.

Why Re-install? Just do a Repair-Install:)

Open Task Manager and see if Explorer is running 'embedded', if it is, kill it and restart the normal explorer.exe

Reboot works for me(when the system feels sluggish). Those FilePendingRenames need to get done!
