This Build is a mess!
Edge is 'borked' right up! (Why does that not surprise me!)
I'm gonna go for a clean install/local and see what happens.

Just noticed that disable Lock Screen has stopped working for me in this build (14271). Tried several methods to disable lock screen including Brink's method and group policy editor. While the registry key is changed to disable the Lock Screen this build seems to be ignoring it.

Looks like I have to reinstall my printer.................. " Network Installation unsuccessful "
Like I have nothing better to do.............. which I don't.
Gosh, brain wasn't in gear this a.m. I was up much earlier than usual this morning....sorry for the mix up. I, in fact, use the Insider builds as my main build...and can have no objection to anyone using them that way...but I can't recommend them for casual users who object to the occasional headaches. For instance, a couple of fairly serious show-stopper bugs in 14251 & 14256 prevented me from installing either build into my system--neither would install. Microsoft listed the issues but neglected to mention that they'd affect installs in some systems--there were several people reporting the same problem inside Microsoft's Feedback installation & migration sections. 14267 completely fixed them & 14271 is fine...but it was the first time since I signed onto the Previews in 10/14 that I had to actually skip whole builds because of bugs. So, yes, generally my experience parallels yours--the bugs are usually minor and mostly inconsequential--but sometimes in the Fast Channel they can be major, too. That's all.
I just thought someone trying to install these fast-channel Insider builds in an entire district might be creating a lot of unnecessary work for himself, and I would feel negligent not to mention it...!
14271 seems the best so far, in my opinion....
Thank you for your concern but, no, I have not put anyone but myself on the Insider program. Been around too long for amateur errors like that.
But I still have the original concern over the restore reset. After all, if a new rtm release is due soon, why wouldn't MS be seeing if they can keep the restore setting in these Insider Reviews?
Time will tell, as it usually does.
Installed 14271 last night in about 30 minutes. I did not check to see if System Restore was still (it was on in the last few builds) on but I will check tonight when I get home. Something new as an issue...I opened Windows Explorer and tried to search for the .esd file (as I always do) and Windows Explorer crashed. I rebooted...same problem...rebooted again and it crashed again. This is the first time I have had a Windows Explorer crash all during the Insider program.
