    Not me, if the developers site sends me to a 3rd party site to download(and they don't have their own Builds page, like Ccleaner does) I go find me an alternate software, that doesn't use installer wrappers or, if that's not possible, I try to rip out/delete the foist crap with 7Zip from the installer.

    Kaspersky is reputable, I use their TDSSKiller a rootkit checker. Many, many years ago System Mechanic came with Kaspersky included. I used to use System Mechanic before they became a rent-a-software model.

    I use 2 cleaners, CCleaner and one called SlimCleaner (free version), SlimCleaner is nice for detailing what certain programs do and supply whether or not they are safe to use <sweet>.
