Thanks Cluster Head for posting this update
I think the way it has gone in is better than through Windows Update
All systems I have installed it on is running good no side effects

Two weeks ago this same thing happened with KB3136562 which updated to 10586.79 and was never released to WU.
A week later KB3135173 was released to WU and updated to 10586.104.
This new one brings us to 10586.112 but I think I will wait for WU and see what I get.
Here is a list of the updates and the build version.

Appreciate the heads up. I'll wait for it to come through on WU.
no more. if it ain't on the regular download wagon, then it gettin unloaded. ms can do their brain surgery on someone else.
Thanks @Cluster Head for the download links, everything ok to my system, also i think after installation performance is going better.
Microsoft needs to fire their windows update team.Looks like there is zero coordination between the WU team, WD group in Microsoft.
The Microsoft Windows-10 development/deployment team reminds me of the 5 hamsters in my son's cage. It's chaotic in there. Lots of busy work, but no progress.
I downloaded KB3140742 today. It took several minutes to download and install. Restart was required. Guess what? No difference in anything that a user can see or feel in the O.S. or Edge.
A lot of hamster-like busy work has been invested to make Windows-10 a revamped, modernized version of Windows-XP.
I downloaded KB3140742 and installed it on one machine with no side effects, everything seems to be running smooth on one of my three systems that I have Win 10 Pro running on. Was hoping that there would be an update to the DirectX graphics kernel soon, ever since Novembers TH2 release NVidia drivers do not play nice with the dx memory management (dxgmms2.sys) portion of it with some 3D apps.
