I'll wait until it appears on WU. No hurry ups on my side.

The Microsoft Windows-10 development/deployment team reminds me of the 5 hamsters in my son's cage. It's chaotic in there. Lots of busy work, but no progress.

I downloaded KB3140742 today. It took several minutes to download and install. Restart was required. Guess what? No difference in anything that a user can see or feel in the O.S. or Edge.

A lot of hamster-like busy work has been invested to make Windows-10 a revamped, modernized version of Windows-XP.
The way it reads it was to fix some bugs that some members have been having.
Next big Update for Edge is hoping to be included in Redstone Build

Have to agree there. I don't ever notice a difference. The same old annoyances and bugs that irritated me from day 1 are all still there 4 months later. There are too many to mention specifically. I think MS likes pushing updates for the sake of updates. If there are new features then I don't notice or use them. I would rather bug fixes over new features anyday of the week. New features mean more bugs to go onto of the old bugs that don't seem to get fixed. Just slow down MS with the constants updates, focus on the glitches and get the OS really bug free and stable first.

    Wise choice.
If your system is running fine and no apparent glitches, then there is nothing needed to be fixed.
It is best to wait for Windows Update.

Nobody implies that there will be problem installing that update.

My point is, if there is no problem in the computer, then there is no hurry to download an update that has yet to show up in Windows Update.
To play safe and wait for Windows Update appears to be prudent.

As alluded to on other sites, it seems to have made Store, Groove Music and Cortana, and perhaps others, much more responsive.
    No negative side affects, (yet!)
