In my case, this tool does not work. Purchased an ALCATEL one touch FierceXL the other day from TM, installed the updated tool today. When starting the app the phone icon appears and states that it does not recognize the device manufacturer, but the laptop it's connected to automatically recognized it as the FierceXL without issue. Think they may have jumped the gun on this one a bit.
