Microsoft mistakenly caps some users' OneDrive storage limits

Microsoft mistakenly capped some Office 365 users' OneDrive cloud storage at one terabyte earlier than promised, but a fix is coming...

...It was a mistake, a Microsoft spokesperson confirmed. Microsoft officials expect to reinstitute previous storage amounts early this week.

    The official statement:

"Some OneDrive customers may have been prematurely migrated to a 1TB storage plan. Data stored with OneDrive remains secure during this process, and we're working hard to revert those users back to their original plan as soon as possible. All Office 365 users with over 1TB of storage will be able to keep that storage limit for at least one year as previously announced." Please stay tuned to the OneDrive blog for future storage plan updates."...

Update (February 9): The spokesperson said the issue has been resolved and affected users have had their storage quotas restored as of today, February 9.

"Data stored with OneDrive remains secure during this process" At least their data is still there.

Why doesn't everyone use the "Cloud"?
Nothing ever goes wrong with the "Cloud".

I've never heard of that one.

I have (basic) Dropbox for uploading TAFE Assignments.
The TAFE upload limit is smaller than most TAFE web assignments.

For the past couple of years, the TAFE system has included OneDrive with the MS student email account, but I haven't tried it.

I got that one with my Gmail account. I have 15Gb but for me that's enough.

I Have the 1TP from Microsoft OneDrive, the only problem is the file upload limit,
There are numerous files that can exceed this file size. Especially if you're syncing HD videos
