I don't see the benefit of doing it with Windows? I do believe when you do it with office 365, you get each new version free with your subscription. Kari can verify that. What's the benefit of doing that with Windows though? You get each new build free anyway?

It might be somewhat beneficial to enterprise users if they received some better support but otherwise this would be a very bad idea.

I would go back to 8.1 in a heartbeat and wouldn't be at all sad about doing it.

Any decent sized company would have a software assurance contract with Microsoft, which I believe, lets you run the latest and greatest version as part of the agreement. At no extra cost.

Ok.. well then I'm sure glad that MS is not going to do this and I don't know why anyone would want to pay a subscription fee for 10.

    Odd..

It would be 8.1 for me. Going back to Windows 7 at this point would be a last ditch option.

I might do that as well but I would have to add on Classic Shell to make 8.1 usable.

It doesn't make any sense to me either? Not as things are now with endless free upgrades to the next new versions/build of Windows.

See, I like the Start Screen. I'm actually a bit peeved that they changed it and added the Start Menu into Windows 10. I liked it better the other way. I'm in the minority on that though, I think?
