HW manufacturers have hit a bit of a snag, It's third time Intel is postponing new processors and even those ones are not very important updates. AMD have not released anything new in couple of years if you don't count bunch of re-branding. Nvidia released some half baked products too. Almost only more or less revolutionary product that came out in last few years for serious computers are SSDs.
DDR 4 is new. There a a couple of new AMD CPU's a 4.2 Ghz and several 95w 8 core CPU's available. The market is saturated and "everyone" is waiting for M$ to kickstart the market with a new OS. Sadly I think from what I have seen so far it will cause more dissatisfaction.

Check to see if it is already installed while its spinning.
Mine was stuck on downloading, I checked for installed updates and it was there.

IT'S OUT! Win 10 is wiped out of my PC now. It's been acting up. I need a new build. When is it coming?

On 10TP Build 9926 through Windows Update I have not received a single update since it came out...I have to update Defender through the UI(no problem). I can update the apps no problem too, even use Store Beta(never had a problem with it). I just haven't received any thing through WU???!!! Manually checking gives me 0x8024402(which I can fix in Windows 8.1with a batch file that resets the DLL's but isn't working in 10TP). I saw in another thread where Superfly told another to just let Windows update itself, and the problem could be that I have been testing installing(clean & upgrade) using Windows 7 and 8.1 drivers, having fun making 10TP BSOD with no chance of resurrection, and the longest I had a good install was maybe 2 weeks.

Note: For Windows 7 upgraders, I found it unnecessary to upgrade my drivers to Windows 8', just the graphics drivers were enough, also some Windows 8 drivers make the system unbootable(BSOD) the Out-of-the Box drivers are good enough.

So now I'll stop install testing and just keep my laptop on and see if I get any updates like Superfly said. Any other input on the subject will be welcome though.

There is a new blog from Gabe Aul, on the insider, with a detailed explanation of how new builds are released.. Might, hopefully, stop this thread from getting unnecessarily longer.
