Microsoft Confirms New Windows 10 Build Coming This Month

Microsoft promised to bring a new Windows 10 Technical Preview build for PCs to users sometime this month, but the company has until now remained tight-lipped on any details as to when exactly this is expected to happen.

In a post earlier today, Gabriel Aul, who's in charge of the insider programs at Microsoft, revealed that the next Windows 10 Technical Preview for PCs would arrive in the last week of February, while new patched could be shipped in the next 7 days.

Huh, I might win after all. I'm expecting it to be a Friday as they'd want users to go bug hunting on their days off so that they can get to work on fixing immediately on Monday without just scratching their balls working on one or two patches.

I was pretty sure it would've been the 20th, but it was taken so I may be right in taking the last Friday.

Perhaps the WU update next week will change the Build Branch to impressive. I cannot see awesome being a possibility anymore. Just look at the latest builds of awesome.

Agreed the only thing "Awesome" did was brick a perfectly good hdd for me,
Good thing it was 5 y.o. and used because of other reports of Microsoft bricking and or sleeping them by adding silly power saving crapware to them.
Desktops are not mobile devices stop treating them as such.

That could be, but you still have corporate entities and TAP folks, as well as a whole slew of other (first in line) testers besides all of us. If the update's released on Friday, those folks probably won't be able to go bug hunting. :)
