Yeah, I'd rather wait for Windows Update. Just wish they'd slow down a bit. I much preferred getting stressed once a month than getting stressed every one or two weeks.
Believe they brought this out because some are having trouble with other updates
Also does install a standalone installer
Also member will know about it as been posted in Windows New By Cluster Head

Microsoft is preparing a support page for the update. You can visit it by clicking the following URL: KB3136562
As of this writing, the page is not ready yet.
Unfortunately, the change log for the released update is unknown. So it not clear for now what exactly was changed, updated or fixed.

Anything on windows update yet, back from work and checked it 7.26 pm UK time but says I'm up to date. Frustrating just want it out the way and done but want to go through preferred method of windows update

One thing I noticed: 'Pin to Start' and 'Pin to Taskbar' has reappeared in tons of different places!

Still hasn't shown up in Windows Update for me.
But I would rather wait, then install something that might be pulled, or not officially sent.
Better to wait, and compute, then BSOD and re-image:).
I don't care that downloads worked for others, this is my system and my setup.
Remember people this is from Softpedia(even though I go there twice a day:)), not Microsoft.

But why aren't they putting it on windows update. They should deploy it through here and keep in sync with release of those links. Most ordinary users don't frequent forums and will be unaware of this update. Are they expecting everyone to just stumble on it. I thought their aim was to keep everyone as upto date as possible. I guess it will appear at sometime later but it's a frustrating waiting exercise

There's no rush. I figure people here will do what they think is best for them. I only wanted to point out the facts.

I will wait for Windows Update to let me know. I am too conservative to take a chance on problems I create by installing any updates I am not sure about. I've been burnt to many times doing silly things - lol.
