Hi badrobot, I got stuck at 42% and it was with me even if the pc was restarted or switched off. I even searched in C drive for the hung download, it was just a phantom thing, several gb would be hard to hide. My internet connection is not fast, about 12.8 m bits, but late last night it downloaded and I ran it today with no problems.

Take a look at this thread and you might find a solution there that works..

None of the solutions worked, the computer seems to do everything perfectly except for the fact that when it is on the windows desktop it is a black screen, I might get out of the insider builds on this computer and just reinstall windows 10 and be done with it.

Experiencing 2 problems on this build:
    1. IE favorites files in folders are missing.
    2. Windows Media Player does not works with downloaded .flv files with major codecs.
    Reported to MS.
. I don't think that these issues are related to the new release. This happened to all my computers including those running standard release win 10, win 7 and win vista

Hello guys I have an issue with the insider preview.

I am currently on OS Build 10586.71 and I am trying to install 14251. However, when I restart to apply the update, I briefly see the updating screen (you know with the blue circle and percentage inside) and then it immediately reboots back to windows and the update has failed. It will then notify me again that there is a new insider build available which I can download and the whole cycle repeats itself.

I couldn't find info on this anywhere. There are no BSOD dumps either. I have attached a log which I hope helps.

If you have USB peripherals attached like external drives, you may wanna try unplugging them and try upgrading again. Also, if you have 3rd party AVs or anti-malware, you may wanna try uninstalling them first before doing the upgrade.

I'm still getting "Click here to enter your most recent credentials."

Doesn't seem to affect anything, but it bothers me.

    Bypass KB3124262

I've already reimaged this PC since it black screened after the update.

Forgot to somehow disable updates and now its sitting on:

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3124262).

    Anyway I can disable this?
Or just give it another try.

Already ran DISM cleanup and sfc with no problems.
