Looking for some advice. After the restore (see above) to 11102, the start menu and notifications don't open.

OK, I got the update screen up via another route, but it now says my system is up to date.

Don't know what to do now. OK, I could restore an image to get 11102 working again but I want to get on to 14251.

Any ideas on how to get it back to 14251?

Got it and it's installed, creating ISO right now and the ISO is all ready!

    Now disk cleanup time...

Downloaded and updated a Gigabyte GA-P45-UD3P running Windows 10 11102 and lost valid SMART values from Hard drives. Checked multiple programs for reading SMART.

I would advise patience. Sometimes these things take a while to work themselves out. Yes, it's maddening at times. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it. It's all so fragile and opaque. If you look into various threads about triggering updates it sometimes seems to border on superstition - hop up and down on your left leg while rebooting at the rising of the moon, or something like it. Nobody knows what's really going on. Maybe at MS, but perhaps not even there. FWIW, I usually get new builds a day after they're announced...

Just updated two systems with no problems. Pleased to report that the sfc /scannow integrity issues involving the MS and Nvidia versions of opencl.dll have now been resolved. Both sfc and dism give the latest image a clean bill of health, for the first time since the November update. Good-oh!

I, as well, confirm that after installing this latest Insider preview and then installing the latest NVIDIA driver, right afterwards, and then running SFC /SCANNOW, no integrity violations were found and nothing was "repaired". Both openCL.dll files have the appropriate size.

Unfortunately, for me and all of us who face this issue, the crashing of the Registry Editor when searching for a non-existent value has not been fixed. I will report it again (and use RegEdit from 10240).

Because he's already wrote it all on his blog, normally I may have an issue with that but Ed is a Pro and mentions us in his articles so it's fine
