FF has been doing that for years. Edge is moving up, though, so fast it cut itself and is bleeding to death!

When Firefox first hit the WWW as a new entity, in a Beta version, I was there. I migrated to FF from Netscape.
Then when FF first released version 1.0, I was there on day one, along with over 1 million other FF enthusiasts.

Well, that was then and this is now, and I'm still a firm FF user, along with http://www.startpage.com as my SAFE search program.
(Google is no longer safe, since they admitted that they were saving all our search info for their own purposes)

FF Sync allows me to set up a new PC with FF and have all my bookmarks, saved passwords, etc., installed automatically.

I find Chrome on my customer's PC's and they don't know what it is or how it ever got on their PC.
It sneaks in like a virus and tries to take over. (like a virus)
I remove it wherever I find it.
If it sneaks in like a virus, then acts like a virus, I delete it like a virus!

Really?? That's odd since I don't have any issues and I bet many others here don't as well.

I agree.

I've been using Firefox for years and I don't recall it ever crashing.

I guess I can say that many years ago I might have had a crash or two but not in the last 5-6 years at least.

Ma first browser was Netscape and later on FF as natural extension of it. Used/using still some based on it such as Waterfox x64 but I must admit all because of shear familiarity and old time menu on top. Perfect (for me ) extensions are also great consideration, I'm just too old dog to learn too many new tricks.
Find myself using Vivaldi more and more but started it just to bypass welcome overstayed by using FF. Try as I may but Edge is too far out and different to get used to. IE was never a consideration unless I had to. Once upon a time it was a must for some standards but nowadays it's less than standard and not a must for compatibility with some sites.

I have decided on the latest current Opera browser,
using Server 2016 - securely blocked IE and set it to maximum lockout.

With Opera, the background of a launch screen can be customized to any pic.
... suppose other browsers can do the same... This one seems easy to use.
