Windows 10: What's the best Windows 10 web browser? The benchmarks are in
All browsers are able go to sites and open web pages. With that bit being OK, the browser's appearance is the second most important point for me. Toolbars have to look right and be fairly minimal.
Firefox is good for that and so is Cyberfox (64-bit). I'm equally happy to use either of these. 'Classic Theme Restorer' makes browser appearance customisable and can be used on both, as can other extensions. Text sizes in the toolbars can be increased a bit with userChrome.css.
It's functions like this that makes me prefer Mozilla-based browsers.
Scorched CPU Theory
I don't really have a Favorite browser, as I have four of them, and each has it's use.
That said I voted for Edge, because I use this one most, for daily searches and browsing most.
The reason being, it's deeply integrated into the system and Cortana, and therefore I get the search results most pertinent to me.
Sorry, you Tin Foil Hats, and users suffering from Microsoftia Skopophobia, but I have my Windows system setup using my Advetising ID as I prefer ads based on my interest, and ads pay for the media I'm consuming, the software I'm downloading, the people who gather this togeather, and their servers and hardware:
The more my system knows about me, the faster I find what I'm looking for, and because I only clean caches, cookies, history and information(on all 4 browsers) when something becomes corrupt, my browsing experience is FAST.

And its one of the longest posts
I use Edge about 75% of the time, the rest I use IE (mainly use Edge because its the future with MS browsers)
My vote did go to IE though, I find it the nicest to use, better looking than Edge and favourites management much easier
The scolling in firefox isnt that smooth. Needs to be snoother.
I use edge on windows 10... like it much better than firefox and cant stand chrome. used firefox before windows 10 and it was ok. internet explorer sucks.
on my mac I use only safari.
Edge feels good, looks good and is stable. But without the addons I'm used to in firefox I haven't opened edge for so long!
It's useless for me in its actual state! So for me firefox is the browser right now.
Update.. I switched to Cyber-Fox and it's nice. Still using Edge as my secondary.

Edge favourites management I think is brilliant...have 17 different topic dropdown menus for instant access.
Attachment only shows a few with one menu open.
When Windows Edge browser starts up, the start page weather is not correct for my area. How do change the location?
The purpose of this thread is to provide a download link for each benchmark currently in the benchmarks sub forum.
We will keep these up to date, but if you come across new versions please let us know.

can someone explain to me why when you download through explorer edge why
the downloads go to a folder, I would prefer to download and just drop on the
desktop instead of in a folder in a different location
