Sounds like the "wait to kill service timeout" thing.
I'd have to look it up, I'm on Droid right now waiting for Remix to load!
I tried Ramix for PC the other day, didn't really like it, it's still largely experimental.

I downloaded Remix_OS_for_PC_64_B2016011201_Alpha.zip ( Remix_OS_for_PC_64_B2016011201_Alpha.zip | by Anik1199 for Canvas A1 ). used remixos-usb-tool-B2016011102.exe that came with it and it installed it on a USB. Runs only from USB and there's two modes, something like just live and other as live but like other Linuxes in live mode with persistence. Looks more like windows than Android,

Have you guys checked the event logs around that time? Might show you if an error is logged pointing to the "Bong!" sound and quick screen error. Could be a flaky driver.
Remind me where I find the event logs, please.

Just got to installing this build today. Mail/Calendar, Xbox, Skype, and Maps all have new layouts and features. I ran into a little problem with changing an appointment to a different day where the app would close out. Finally just deleted it and made a new one which worked. That's was all so far. :)

Stuck at 25% returning error 0x800703ed. Researched and found this very useful link Configure telemetry and other settings in your organization (Windows) This did solve a long standing problem about Insider Previews being determined by my organization (there is none as others have complained about( by
Apply the Group Policy: Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Data Collection and Preview Builds > Toggle user control over Insider builds.) but that did not help. Rebooted etc etc. Any idea?

10586 is a general release to the public. 11082 and now 11099 are Insider beta releases, hence the watermark say evaluation. Nothing to worry about.
